“CaliDistance RTF 1” HU 3

Weapons will be pre-selected and you must register your name & weapon. I will post the distances required to shoot your animal at, that relate to the weapon selection in each RTF. *(-1) point will be subtracted from your score for every yard over or above the selected yardage for the weapon you decide to use. Depending on the weapon you select this is how it works. If you select the:

.30-06 the distance you are required to shoot an animal at is 300 yrds.
.7mm distance 400 yards.
.280 Bolt distance 280 yards
.243 Lever distance 243 yards

3 Tags: Any animal, any gender that is on the map.

Scoring = Tourney score (+) weight of 2nd animal killed (+) Bonuses as listed below

One Shot Vital Bonuses = Spine 25 pts, Heart 30 pts

This RTF will be ready for download when one of my other generated tourneys expire. Registrants can sign up until the last day of the hunt. Any posted scores before registration Equal zero! Hope to see ya'll huntin'. 8-) Peace.

Registered Hunters/Huntresses:
Firefly: .243
Quasi: .7mm
Brian T.: .30-06

Sounds interesting man. One question regarding the distances tho. You said 'minimum distance'. So as long as I shoot the animal over the specified distance, I'll be ok?

Just a thought, but I'll require more math. Maybe have the distance the target to aim for. Any yardage over or under will result in lost points (1 point per yard). Just a thought bro. ;)

Oh, I guess I have two questions. Are one shot kills mandatory, with bonuses for the vitals you listed? Or can I fill the thing full of lead?

Awesome Q's and feedback LW, that is what has been missin' 'round here & there. One shot vitals aren't mandatory except if you want the bonuses (heart & spine). I like the (-1) point for every 'yard' over or under the set yardage. Makes it a helluva a lot more challenging. $Bill's L vs M latest was friggin' tough, eventhough the max distance was only 100 yrds. I thought it seemed a little too easy at first, boy, was I wrong. So, yeah, I'll make some adjustments to the RTF ROE. Thanks for the input. It won't run for a few days, so, if more ppl have ideas etc,. voice 'em wouldja. 8-) Peace.

well, the -1 for being off on the distance sounds good but i think i would make it for .1 yards most of the competitors are pretty accurate on the yardage i think.
