I concur BT ... sweet. Accuracy International makes some damn fine rifles. If I'm not mistaken, it was a Brit using one of their rifles in .338 LM who busted Furlong's longest sniping shot about 2 yrs ago.

Yes, the AX(include case & cleaning set) costed about 4500euro, i think that's something as 6000dollar, without optics. I hope i not payed to much cause i know pretty much about LR-riffles, but if it comes about price then i'm not the right person sometimes. But i was consider to buy also a AW .338 Lapua or Tactical(cause i hear much about a Tactical), but don't know what to choose. I mean, i'm happy with my AX & it'll stay my favorite, but i'm curious and like to know always more and more how different good riffles&ballistics perform. So i'll wait till i'm sure or know from someone who have a AW Tactical or Lapua or have both.
Those records are great. With the .338 i mostly don't shoot further then about 1500yds/little less then 1400meter. I guess that guy was much better then me!

Sorry buddy but I did give you a chance..
Here's the AX338:
And an interesting vid of this BRAND NEW rifle system.
I wouldn't have bothered with all this if it wasn't from the second pic. If you look under my avatar you'll see I am from Sweden. I have done my time in the service and had the fortune to shoot the AW.308 (Arctic Warfare, or PSG90 as it's named here) on several occasions. Maybe you'll recognize this picture:
See that blue tape I ringed? (#1) That's what the military here use for indication of equipment firing blanks/wooden bullets. (Live ammo/grenades etc are marked with yellow) I'm sure other nations use this as well. That thing I ringed (#2) is no ordinary muzzle break. That thing is mounted on top of the MB and designed to pulverize wooden bullets. Noone gets harmed when fired upon. It's for simulation/training purposes only and I highly doubt any non-military could aquire these things unless stolen.
I am in no means an AICS expert but the so called AX you posted looks to me like a customized remmy 700 in an AICS kit. No sensible person who has aquired a new AX would strip down the perfected tube chassis and remount the system in an old and in comparison useless AICS kit.
Maybe it's time to wake up from Ghost Recon, Call Of Duty eh

It is indeed. The first time I saw it I thought it looked like a kids toy. Then the more I bumped into it I realized that's just what it is In all black it looks f**in' badass

Yeah, it does look somewhat like an over glorified paint gun. Not sure why the stocks are tan, when the rest of the weapon is black. A woodland camo scheme might look cool, but tan??

It's become very popular to put duracoat on rigs lately. The original colours don't really matter..
