NTUSER.DAt file. One showed up in my Documents and it can't be deleted. Does anyone know what it is, could it be a trojan? Later.

If in doubt, right click on the file and check it with yer AV program. I used to use ESET Antivirus Software for protection. Since I had to reinstall XP a few months ago I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials. And the price is good. FREE

Works like a hot damn man. My buddy recommend it to me. The same guy who d/l's games and movies. His brother (one of those techy types) recommended it to him.

A word of caution with the Full Scan. I found it best to do it just before ya go to bed 'cause it takes a LONG time. This thing scans everything including files in ZIP and RAR files
Updates can be done automatically at a preset time or manually.
When MSE comes across something suspicious it gives you a threat level and recommendations. Quarantine or Remove:

Needles to say, I 86'd that puppy!

All in all, it's the best I've used. The only other program I use is Advanced System Care Pro v4.1. Keeps the machine lean and clean.

I picked this lil' gem up. It does work nicely. Later.
